An interesting aspect, to me, is that the wave of Republican elections might be due to the misinformation that Fox News and conservative radio spew out. "From January 2009, when President Barack Obama took office, through June of 2010, corporate profits increased 62 percent. The strongest 18 month rise since the 1920s" (politico.com).
I do not think most voters knew that. One can see that the corporations are keeping the profits and not expanding to improve the job market.
Additionally, "Nearly one in four of those who went to the polls was over 65, and six out of 10 of them voted Republican," (The Week), the party that wishes to eliminate Social Security, which the people over 65 most often depend upon.

I think this plays a part, but let’s not forget that Diebold voting machines were used in a LARGE number of precincts……….what’s ironic is, this time around, the same party whom many people know stole the 2000 & 2004 elections, where the ones accusing the Dems of the very same thing they had once done themselves……….twice, in fact!
