Former state GOP chairman launches public relations firm

NASHVILLE — Former state Republican Party Chairman Bob Davis is opening a public relations and political consulting firm in Nashville.
Davis has named his company the RJD Group Inc.
Davis left the state GOP last year to work for Fred Thompson’s presidential campaign. He also managed Thompson’s 1996 U.S. Senate campaign and was his state director.
Davis was elected as state party chairman in 2004.
