DOLLY PARTON plans to sue notorious US DJ Howard Stern after he broadcast a faked tape that made her sound like a racist pervert. Stern's team cobbled together old recordings of the country star and manipulated her voice to make it sound like she was bragging about performing sex acts with stars including Burt Reynolds and Kenny Rogers.
The fake Dolly also cursed and swore and made vile racist remarks.
Mortified Dolly, a 62-year-old devout Christian, told fans on her website: "I cannot believe what Howard Stern has done to me.
"In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth.
"They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing. Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this. If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it's going to be over this. Just wanted you to know I am completely devastated by this."
