American consumers of conservative media like Fox News distrust climate scientists and don't believe the planet is warming A new study published in the journal Public Understanding of Science (PDF available here) surveyed a nationally representative sample of over 1,000 Americans in 2008 and 2011 about their media consumption and beliefs about climate change.
Note that Sarah Palin, the well-known far-right martyr, did not step forward herself to correct the record, but let the fantasy stalker story stand as fact because it was to her political advantage to sustain popular belief that an evil liberal was stalking her.
